Breaking AC Milan news
AC Milan have been linked to Keisuke Honda since the summer of 2010, when it was reported that the Rossoneri were very close to signing the Japanese player.
Yesterday, There were reports from Russia saying that the midfielder has chosen not to renew his contract with CSKA Moscow which expires in January 2014. Just the kind of situation Milan CEO Adriano Galliani thrives in.
It’s also being reported that Honda is aware of Milan’s interest in him and has welcomed a move to the Italian giants. Given his playmaking skills and his ability to take on multiple midfield roles, Honda would be a very welcome sight at Milan. Then there is also the fact that signing Honda would provide Milan with great commercial opportunities in Asia.
What remains to be seen is wether Galliani choses to make a bid in the summer or waits till the Winter Transfer Window when the Japanese midfielder will be available on a free.
With Galatsaray showing interest in Kevin Prince Boateng and Milan seemingly willing to accept bids for the #10, Honda looks like a viable solution to replace Boateng, who had a very disappointing last season at Milan.
